BEAUTIFUL WORDS

Someone has written these beautiful words. One must read and try to under-stand the deep meanings in them. Thank you for sharing Edwina

They are like the Ten Commandments which you may follow all the rest of your life......

1.
Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble;

it is a "steering wheel" that directs us in the right path throughout
life.

2. Do you know why a car's windshield is so large & the rear view mirror is so
small? Because our past is not as important as our future. So, look ahead

and move on.

3.
Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to
write.

4.
All things in life are temporary. If going well enjoy it, they will not last

forever. If going wrong don't worry, they can't last long either.

5.

Old friends are like Gold! New Friends are Diamonds! If you get a Diamond,

don't forget the Gold, because to hold a Diamond, you always need a base of
Gold!

6.
Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and
says, "Relax sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end!

7.

When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities. When GOD

doesn't solve your problems, HE has faith in your abilities.

8. A blind person asked St. Anthony: "Can there be anything worse than losing

eye sight?"
He replied: "Yes, losing your vision."

9. When you pray for others God listens to you and blesses them; and sometimes

when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

10.
WORRYING does not take away Tomorrow's' TROUBLES, it takes away today's
PEACE.

If you really enjoy this, PLEASE pass to others. It may brighten someone's day. . .

REMEMBER

“If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9

THERE WAS A BLIND GIRL #70810062011

THERE WAS A BLIND GIRL

This is a great email. It would be good for everyone to read and realize how great life is. Shared by a friend.

There was
a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She
hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always
there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see
the world, I will marry you.'

One day,
someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages
came off, she was able to see everything, including her
boyfriend.

He asked
her, ‘Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected
that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him...

Her
boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her
saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear; for before
they were yours, they were mine.'

This is
how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a
Gift

Today
before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before
you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat...

Before
you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today
before you complain about life - Think of someone who went
too early to heaven...

Before
whining about the distance your drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.

And when
you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

And when
depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still around...
==========================
Be kind to someone today and be blessed!

TAKING MY PICTURE #70709302011

TAKING MY PICTURE

EVERY DAY MAY NOT BE GOOD BUT THERE'S SOMETHING GOOD IN EVERY DAY.

Out of the mouths of Babes.

This should make you smile!

A Child's View of Thunderstorms

A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning.

The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school. She also feared the electrical storm might harm her child. Full of concern, the mother got into her car and quickly drove along the route to her child's school. As she did, she saw her little girl walking along.

At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile. More lightning followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile

When the mother drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called, "What are you doing?"
The child answered, "I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture."

May God bless you today and every day as you face the storms that come your way!

My Friend Bob shared this and although the picture of the little girl may not come thru I thought you may need this today.

IT'S BEEN LIKE A FOG #70609282011

IT’S BEEN LIKE A FOG

It’s been neigh a month since last I wrote and it’s been like a fog rolled in with the many events that took place in September 2011. My last writing was Thanksgiving for Answered Prayer. I am still thankful and praise God for His mercy, kindness and goodness.

September started with a bang with my mother’s baby brother Jesse Hugh Lee dying unexpectedly on Labor Day morning. We were blessed by him for 73 years and miss him greatly. It was good to be able to attend his home going celebration and see some cousins I haven’t seen in decades.

In the meantime my son was back in the hospital again for eight days and continues to struggle with his health. My wife’s aunt Louise Rominger died during this time and will be greatly missed too.

And then my daughter, wife and I took a planned vacation in which we enjoyed plenty of rain and some sunshine on the beach. We were blessed with some good times and had a safe journey.

Today as I arise it is real foggy outside and it reminds me of this month. Whether foggy, rainy, sunny, or dark outside Jesus still shines within my heart and gives me warmth for the day. I honestly don’t know how anyone makes it without my Lord.

It makes me want to cry out scriptures to the world such as Joel 2:1 “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;”

Joel was describing the effects of the locust plague but he implied this was only the forerunner of an even greater crisis if the people didn’t turn from their sins. Today I cry out to our world to behold the Lamb of God and return unto him and receive his mercy and grace.

He is here right now and he wants to save you. Will you receive him today? Will you repent and be forgiven of your sins. Wow! If you will simply come unto him you’re life will be changed and the bible says the angels in heaven will rejoice as you return to God.

Oh what a Savior, Oh Hallelujah! I feel His presence right now and can picture my little mother as she would cry out praises to God when she was blessed when someone was saved or when she was just receiving a blessing herself.

Thank you Jesus for today, thank you for your love, thank you for saving someone today and rescuing them from a devil’s hell.
