God's Love Is Still The Sam 3465

GOD’S LOVE IS STILL THE SAME

Yesterday has come and gone but God's love for you is still the same. The bible says He is the same yesterday, today and forever. I'm thankful that God doesn't change. Unlike our friends and love ones who may let us down once in awhile, he changes not. With the knowledge of his steadfastness, we are able to cling to the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is wonderful to be able to rise in the morning and think of the goodness of our almighty God. Do you take time to thank him for life, health or strength? Do you take it for granted and leave home in a rush to get your busy life in gear? I always love to hear my precious mother say “I was just thinking about God today and he is so good to me.” Yes, God is very good to us each day.

When we take time to reflect on God's mercy we are enriched and our day begins with a freshness that will cause us to look and behold all that he is doing for us as we begin our day. Did you get out of that bed today? How did you do it? You say; I just did it! Well, think about it a moment. Without God giving you the strength to rise you would still be laying there.

I remember a dear saint that was bedfast the last few years of her life. She would break bones just trying to turn over on her side. It was so sad to behold but oh, how this lady loved God. Many times we would go to have a little service with her to lift her up but we were the ones lifted up.

Recently one of you shared how that since your health has changed you have learned to ministry thru what God has placed in your hands. There is always room to do all that our hands find to do to glorify God. To God be the honor, glory, and praise. So, I ask you today, will you take time to thank God for all he has done in your life, all he is doing, and all he is about to do to bless you as you lift Him up in adoration and praise.

1John 1: 9 If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Surfing with Jesus #463

Just a Closer Walk

This week I have found myself reading the word and crying out to God for healing and physical strength. I know God is my healer and I know it takes faith to believe but sometime I find myself crying out “Forgive me Lord, please help my unbelief.

When our bodies fail us and we are unable to do as we desire, it is easy to become depressed. That’s when I encourage myself by going to the word and just reading about God and his plan for healing and meeting my needs.

I guess you have never found yourself in this position or you don’t want to let others know that you are weak and need help. Well, I think it is healthy to be honest before God and cry out “I am weak but thou art strong, Jesus keep me from all wrong, I’ll be satisfied as long, As I walk let me walk close to thee.” Just a closer walk with Thee, Grant it Jesus is my plea (humble plea), Daily walking close to Thee, Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.”

Then, God’s word cries out to me and I’m so glad I have hid his word away in my heart. I thank my wonderful parents, teachers, preachers, etc. that taught me to come to God’s word in these times.

You know Jesus is our everything as we find him throughout the Bible.
Look with me at a few verses.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loves us. Romans 8:37

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

So, this week I have been crying out with my wife “Lord we ask you for healing.”

And the Bible says in Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Thank you God for your word, I stand on your promises today doubting not. Lord, may I walk close to thee this day in Jesus name I pray.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Our Promise Is Realized Through Faith #462

OUR PROMISE IS REALIZED THROUGH FAITH

Romans 4:18-25 (KJV)
18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. 19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. 23Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Abraham set the perfect example of realizing his promise as he exercised his faith in God. We receive Christ through this same act of faith as we repent of our sins and ask forgiveness and accept him as our Lord and Savior and soon coming King.
Are you in need of God’s touch for your body, your marriage, your finances, your spiritual well being? Will you against all hope believe in God to perform all he has promised you today? Will you cast off all unbelief; be strong in faith, and give God glory as he performs all he has promised you?
Being fully persuaded Abraham believed God. Will you allow righteousness to be imputed to you because you believe God? Lord help our unbelief, help us to be strong in faith as we trust you to lead us, guide us, and direct us into all truth. May we do whatsoever our hands find to do with all our might and be strong in you as we share your love with others today. May we lift you up in Jesus name I pray. To you alone be the glory.
