THE U IN JESUS

Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son..

And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.
You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.

And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified..

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
And this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His Upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.

"Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - Just like I love U."

So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?

It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know,
But it all starts with U.

Will U pass it on.

SPEAKING WITH SONGS

Keep praising the Lord when the skies above are gray, keep praising the Lord for the answers on the way, do not despair for God will answer prayer for those who endure the victory is sure keep praising the Lord.

There is a river that flows from deep within, There is a fountain that frees the soul from sin. Come to this water, there is a vast supply. There is a river that never shall run dry.

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see and I look upon his face the one who Saved me by his grace, and he takes me by the hand and leads me to the promise land, what a day, glorious day that will be.

PREPARATION

Preparation makes a difference in all realms of life whether it’s work, school, play, recreation, etc. We need to learn to let God handle the universe and most other things as well. We need to learn to trust God more than we do. And how do we trust Him? What is the evidence that we trust Him? We talk to Him. We turn everything over to Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6 ⁵Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. ⁶In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

Many people trifle with or perhaps play with that which will affect them eternally. They play at their religion or Christianity instead of taking it seriously.

We all need to realize how short life is and prepare for the end whether it’s death or the Lord’s return. And we prepare for the end and for the next life by knowing the Lord and walking with Him. DO YOU KNOW HIM? And, are you walking with Him every day?

Philippians 4:4-4:7 ⁴Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. ⁵Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. ⁶Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. ⁷And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I’m sure you’ve seen this story but it’s an example of preparation for each day that will help us.

The Worry Tree!

The Carpenter I hired to help me restore and old farmhouse had just finished a rough first day on the job. A flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric saw quit, and now his ancient pickup truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.

On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands. When opening the door, he underwent an amazing transformation. His tanned face wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.

Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.

"Oh, that's my trouble tree", he replied. "I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing for sure, troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children. So I just hang them on the tree every night when I come home. Then in the morning I pick them up again."

"Funny thing is", he smiled, "when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there ain't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before."

HEART TO HEART

Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so, little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong, yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, for the Bible tells me so.

Little child like faith is what love is all about. Why do grownups complicate it and make it seem so big? A little child shall lead them one writer says.

Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, red and yellow black and white they are precious in his sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Unless we become humble as a little child we will not enter into the gates of heaven. So let’s be kids again and have this child like faith where we trust God in everything expecting of him and receiving of him.

Hey big kid, do you know that Jesus loves you? Will you take time out of your busy schedule and allow his love to flood your soul. Have you strayed off course a bit or have you never experienced his love? Jesus has a simple answer and he is waiting for you to sing this song.

Into my heart, into my heart, come into my heart Lord Jesus, come in today, come in to stay, come into my heart Lord Jesus. Now take time to experience the joy that comes and floods your soul once you have repented and simply ask Jesus into your heart.

Now, that wasn’t all that bad, quite simple wasn’t it. Now share this love with some so they too can rejoice in the Lord.

The song says this is my story; this is my song, praising my Savior, all the day long, this is my story this is my song singing his praises all the day long. What a Valentine to know Jesus as your Lord. Why, even the angels rejoice when someone returns unto to Lord.
