A special thank you for your response to my “test” note last week and thank you for your kind notes. I wanted to make sure you were receiving Surfing with Jesus.

The Beauty of Fall

Wow! It seems like fall is passing by quickly and yet it just began. I guess that’s the way it is as you get older. I never tire seeing the leaves change and the beautiful colors God gives us with his paint brush.

God is so good to us and as the fall of this old world continues to change its leaves, I want to behold the majesty and beauty of our magnificent God. Life has plenty of leaves that fall but that’s okay because we as Christians have placed every leaf in his hands.

Everyone is worried about our economy and talking more and more about the depression and the recessions we have gone thru before. As we study the word of God we know many events are to take place before Christ return. However, it’s at these times we need to lift up our heads and know that our King, the King of Kings is continuing to prepare us a home. These events just draw us closer to his coming. Wow! No more aches and pains, no more economies to rise or fall, no more elections and lies from those who fill our airways with poison.

In the midst of this my precious ones, look in God’s word, in the end we win but “until then my heart will go on singing, until then with joy, I’ll tarry on, until the day mine eyes behold that city, until the day God calls me home.”

Psalm 121

1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will

not slumber.

4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this

time forth, and even for evermore.

I hope these words will help you take a look at the fall physically and spiritually and know that God is God and his word will endure throughout all generations. Be faithful until the end of the way. It will be worth it all to him say well done thou good and faithful servant.

Remember:

1John 1:9 “If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
