UNWAVERING CONFIDENCE IN OUR GOD
Psalm 27
1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
My wife and I have been saying all day we hope we are able to have church in the morning. We look forward to lifting our voices and praise the Lord as we express our confidence in our God for who he is and what he is doing in our lives.
With all that we face in this life I am so thankful I need have no fear because the Lord is my strength. Enemies may do their best to harm us but they will not prevail when we place our all in the hands of Jesus.
We are prone to wait until we are having problems before we seek the Lord. We need to seek God’s presence everyday. When we stay in the presence of God we are able to handle the test that comes our way. In his presence, oh how precious it is to be ready to seek God’s direction beforehand.
It is so beautiful to dwell in the house of the Lord and to behold his beauty as he leads, guides, and directs our lives. So, be excited with me about being in the house of the Lord and refueling our tank for another day as we take time to worship him.

“If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9
