The Rabbit Is Gone but Jesus Lives On

The season for the bunny has come and gone but Jesus lives on. I’m so thankful I have Jesus in my heart and life. Seasons come and go but the Resurrection of Jesus brought life to all who will receive him and hope of eternal life with our Lord.

I want to lift Jesus higher today and each day he gives me until I make heaven my home. Yes, I enjoyed my eggs today but I can enjoy Jesus each day of the year. Jesus paid it all and I want him to be satisfied with the life I live before others.

I think it is time Christians declare loyalty to God. If we are genuinely committed to God, we can stand up to the opposition we may face. I believe it is time for my fellow Americans to stand firm on the word of God and not let man deter us from proclaim his word to our communities.

Join with me in a Psalm of David as he declared his loyalty to God.

Psalm 26

1Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

2Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

3For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

4I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

5I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

6I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

7That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

8LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

9Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

10In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

11But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

12My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

Lord help my foot to stand and lift you up before man. Lord may you be seen in my life so others will desire to come to you and enjoy the blessings you bestow upon me in Jesus name I pray. I look forward to your return when I will see you face to face and thank you for your love and care.

HOW ABOUT MARY #68401162011

HOW ABOUT MARY?

How about Mary? Where was she? What was going on? I’m not a scholar of the word that knows but if she was like my Godly mom she was probably having some feeling in her heart that something was happening in her son Jesus’ life.

Mom’s are like that and often call or check on you to see what is happening.

Do you wonder if she had a deep deep feeling that this may be the last week of her son’s short life on this earth? Was she in the crowd or was she home taking care of her family at this time? Well, I for one don’t know but as a good mother you know her heart and concern was for her son.

Yes, God sent his son, he was called Jesus and he gave his life for you and me. I’m so thankful as we are in another Easter Season that I can take time to say thank you Lord for going to the Cross of Calvary for me. Thank you Lord that I have hope of eternal life because you care for me. Jesus is still the sweetest name I know and I pray I always remember and lift him up before this world.

Are you ready to celebrate Jesus this week? I hope you take time to remember the supreme sacrifice he paid for you. Do you know anyone else that would do this for you? I know our families may love us but Jesus gave his all that I may rejoice in Him today. That’s okay, go ahead as you read and Lift Jesus Higher.

As we pause and remember this week let us do our best to lift him up and share his love with others who may not know him as their Lord and Master and friend. If just one person you know receives Christ this week your testimony will be worth it all as the angels in heaven rejoice over that soul.

Can we say as the song proclaims “I’ll tell the world how Jesus saved me and made me whole.” I feel his touch and his presence; it is so real as I write this morning. I love you Lord I just want to take time to tell you and thank you. Bless your holy name. I want to be the witness you desire and see souls receive you today. Have a great week in the Lord my friends. Let him have his way with you. As Mark Lowery sings “Mary Did You Know?” What a song and testimony.

DRINKING FROM MY SAUCER

(A very spiritual and true poem)

I've never made a fortune, and it's probably too late now.
But I don't worry about that much, I'm happy anyhow
And as I go along life's way,
I'm reaping better than I sowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

Haven't got a lot of riches,
and sometimes the going's tough
But I've got loving ones all around me,
and that makes me rich enough.
I thank GOD for his Blessings,
and the Mercies HE's bestowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

I remember times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke,
and the sun peeped through again.

So LORD, help me not to gripe,
about the tough rows I have hoed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

If GOD gives me strength and courage,
When the way grows steep and rough.
I'll not ask for other blessings,
I'm already Blessed enough.

And may I never be too busy,
to help others bear their loads..
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

When I think of how many people in this world have it worse
than I do, I realize just how BLESSED WE really are.

Don't be too busy today...Share this inspiring message with friends and family.

Thanks for sharing with us Karl
