“In the Beginning GOD…”
“In the beginning GOD…” What a thought. When we see this it settles it all for me. Man can try to explain it away but the Bible still say In Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning GOD.” But is goes on to say, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” KJV
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” NLT
“In the beginning God created heaven and earth.” GW
Anyway you look at it old or new translations we find in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. So what’s your problem man? Why do you continue to try and explain it away? You must have too much time on your hands when you cannot explain it simply using God’s word.
I wonder why so many people try to explain it away. This is one of those things you accept and move on in the Lord. When we spend all our time dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s we are no earthly good to anyone.
Folk’s people are in need of you and God’s word. Loving people and caring for them is a lot more important. Our creator is depending on you to share His Son Jesus Christ and we need to be about His business.
One year I had a Sunday School teacher call me early on Sunday morning and say Pastor me and the Lord have been up all night studying Daniel and I need to continue my study this morning. And guess what? That’s exactly what he did. Now when we arrived at church there came in his group of young people waiting to be fed from God’s word. To say the least they were disappointed.
It is alright to study but we are responsible for the souls God has entrusted to us. Interesting enough years later this same young man became a pastor and I often wonder how he handled it when someone didn’t follow thru with their commitment.
Have you been an example today to those around you? Will you be an example? Remember Jesus is the sweetest name I know and as you lift him up others will be blessed and understand how important it is to accept “In the beginning God…”
