THE LOVE OF GOD IS GREATER FAR

Well it will be the first Christmas without my mom Lois Viola (Lee) Dasher and my uncle Jesse Hugh Lee but oh what joy fills my soul just to know just to know that HIS grace is sufficient for me.

Christmas is a time of joy in knowing our Savior was born and that he didn’t stay in that manager but grew up to be a man that would go to the cross for our sins. Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord, I now await your return to gather us home with you so we too and rest at peace with you as our love ones and friends have this year.

The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell. Join me this Christmas season and sing it with me.

The love of God is Greater Far

  1. The love of God is greater far
    Than tongue or pen can ever tell.
    It goes beyond the highest star
    And reaches to the lowest hell.
    The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
    God gave His Son to win;
    His erring child He reconciled
    And pardoned from his sin.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints' and angels' song.

  1. When hoary time shall pass away,
    And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall;
    When men who here refuse to pray,
    On rocks and hills and mountains call;
    God's love, so sure, shall still endure,
    All measureless and strong;
    Redeeming grace to Adam's race—
    The saints' and angels' song.
  1. Could we with ink the ocean fill,
    And were the skies of parchment made;
    Were every stalk on earth a quill,
    And every man a scribe by trade;
    To write the love of God above
    Would drain the ocean dry;
    Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
    Though stretched from sky to sky.

I hope you enjoyed this brief moment as much as I did and I trust you worshiped our Lord with me.

REMEMBER

“If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9
