IS HEAVEN REAL
Yes, Heaven is real. There is no question in my heart or mind heaven will be worth it all. In the world today people want to question anything and everything. There is nothing wrong with questions but when you get to the place you don’t believe there is a God and you don’t believe there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun then you are talking to the wrong person and barking up the wrong tree.
Even if you don’t read your Bible and don’t believe the testimony of those gone on before you it doesn’t take away from the fact these things are real. One can believe a lie and split hell wide open or accept the truth of God’s word and receive life and a home in heaven.
John wrote while in exile on the Greek island of Patmos the book of Revelation. He was isolated from family and could have become bitter and angry but instead he shared with us the hope for a future thru a revelation he received from God.
Read with me Revelation 21:3-5
3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Heaven will be a place where God dwells. The location is so good that gold dwells there. His presence affects everything. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine because the glory of God gives it light. What a place!
Heaven will be a place of relief. Can you imagine what it will be like to live without fear of dying, without wondering if your kids are safe; without experiencing hurt or pain again? As the slogan goes “Oh what a relief it is.” Just to know we are with Jesus and need not fear again will make going to heaven worth it all.
Heaven will also be a place of restoration. Our world has been corrupted because of sin but one of the neat things is God will restore that which has broken down. God is going to make all things new and it will stay new forever.
It is my desire to see more and more of us make reservations for heaven. If you are ready to go stay ready and look for his return. If you are not ready, get ready. Heaven will surely be greater than anything I can explain. Failing to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior leaves you the alternative choice and that is Hell. My friend you don’t want to go there and be cast into an eternity of darkness and separation from God.
